On a cold weekend in January, The Jäger Maestros performed at Butlins’ Brass weekend where stars such as Bad Ass Brass, The Maynard Ferguson Big Band and The Band of the Kings Division were also set to perform.
Thousands of brass enthusiasts attended the event with the Jägers headlining on the Saturday night. However, nothing could have prepared the band for the size of the audience that greeted them when they took to the stage, with a capacity crowd filling the huge venue.
Stan Lippeatt, the organiser of the event was gushing in his praise of the band following the rapturous applause, “This is the best oompah band I have ever seen in my life!” He said before booking the band for next year’s event.
